Ocean. Now! leverages the power of art to strengthen engagement for SDG 14 “Life below water” on all levels of society. Our goal is the recovery of marine ecosystems.

Approach

We strive to strengthen this engagement within all levels of society through the power of art. Art is ubiquitous as it transcends barriers of language and culture. We believe that art helps us develop a deeper connection with the world around us. It addresses the emotional brain of humans, which determines our actions. Through art, we hope to rebuild our connection to nature and the ocean.

We advocate for urgent action not only at an individual level but also at a systemic level. We engage with governments, institutions and the private sector to impact effective and accelerated change for the sake of our blue planet. We rely on scientific approaches to contribute to the goals under SDG 14 – “Life below water”.
